Finally! So excited to announce that the first complete Holy Grammar Course is finished! Its called the Torah Series and focuses on the first five books of the Bible which are not easy reads, especially Numbers and Leviticus.
The course aims to make these books accessible and also relate what happens in them (which is often tough to comprehend) to the New Testament and where we are as Christians today.
I worked closely with two special and dear students, firstly Nicole, who is travelling to Israel in October and who needs a deeper understanding of the historical and spiritual contexts of these texts. Her insights and questions have been invaluable in shaping the course materials to ensure they are engaging and useful. Hans also assisted me immensely with critiquing text and adding valuable interpretations where needed. In addition, we incorporated beautiful videos from www.bibleproject.com which has really made the course come alive.
The Torah Series is designed for both individual study and group discussions, and we hope to inspire a renewed appreciation for these foundational texts and how they continue to influence our faith and lives today.
Our journey through the Torah will include exploring the rich narratives, laws, and teachings that have guided generations. By connecting these ancient stories to contemporary Christian beliefs, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding that enriches both personal faith and community discussions.
I am incredibly grateful to Nicole and Hans and look forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences as you embark on this educational journey. May this course reignite your interest in the books of the Old Testament and shed light on your current spiritual journey.
