Why Holy Grammar?
At Holy Grammar, we believe learning English can be more than academic—it can be deeply meaningful. We created this space for students who want to grow in both language and faith, learning English through the life-giving words of the Bible.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide faith-based English lessons that are clear, encouraging, and spiritually uplifting. Through each lesson, our goal is to help you improve your English while drawing closer to God through His Word.
Who is it for?
Holy Grammar is designed for adults who want to improve their English in a way that honors their faith. Whether you're a beginner in the Bible or a seasoned believer, our lessons will help you engage more deeply with Scripture whilst developing your language skills.
What makes us different?
Unlike traditional language courses, Holy Grammar is built around Scripture. Our lessons are designed to strengthen your vocabulary and grammar skills through passages, thought-provoking discussions, and practical applications, all rooted in faith.
So glad you are here!
Learning a language is a journey —so is growing in faith. At Holy Grammar, you can do both, one step at a time. May this be a place where you are encouraged, challenged, and equipped. Spending time in the word will enrich your spirit whilst you learn.
Is the material original?
Yes! Every class is crafted with care, prayer, and a heart to see you grow, not only as a language learner but as a follower of Christ. Sometimes topics emerge via conversations or from subjects and scriptures discussed in Bible Study. Lessons balance English grammar with faith content.
Hi, I’m Delene, the founder of Holy Grammar. I’m a native English speaker, a qualified TEFL teacher, and a passionate educator with over five years of online teaching experience. I’ve also had the privilege of homeschooling both of my children, which deepened my love for personalised and meaningful learning.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree and recently completed my Certificate in Ministry. I’m currently pursuing a Diploma in Ministry as I continue to grow in my theological understanding and Christian walk.
My love for Scripture runs deep—I’ve read the entire Bible three times and am currently on my fourth journey through the “Bible in One Year.” In 2022, I had the unforgettable experience of traveling to Israel, which brought even more depth to my studies and faith.
Holy Grammar was born out of my desire to combine language learning with the life-giving truth of the Bible. I believe learning English can be more than just practical; it can be spiritually enriching too.
I’m so excited to walk this journey with you. Life is constantly learning - let's learn together!
"Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning." Proverbs 9:9
