Our mission is to provide faith-based English lessons that are clear, encouraging, and spiritually uplifting. Through each lesson, our goal is to help you improve your English while drawing closer to God through His Word.

Who is it for?

Holy Grammar is designed for adults who want to improve their English in a way that honors their faith. Whether you're a beginner in the Bible or a seasoned believer, our lessons will help you engage more deeply with Scripture whilst developing your language skills.

What we offer

You’ll find self-paced classes, downloadable lessons, and themed courses such as The Torah Series, which explore English grammar through foundational books like Genesis and Leviticus. We also facilitate Private and Group classes.

What makes us different?

Unlike traditional language courses, Holy Grammar is built around Scripture. Our lessons are designed to strengthen your vocabulary and grammar skills through passages, thought-provoking discussions, and practical applications, all rooted in faith.

Is the material original?

Yes! Every class is crafted with care, prayer, and a heart to see you grow, not only as a language learner but as a follower of Christ. Sometimes topics emerge via conversations or from subjects and scriptures discussed in Bible Study. Lessons balance English grammar with faith content.

Plans for the future?

Whilst the main focus currently is the creation of first-rate lessons and making them available online at a reasonable cost; there are other "dreams" in the pipeline. Here are some hints!

Hi, I’m Delene, the founder of Holy Grammar. I’m a native English speaker, a qualified TEFL teacher, and a passionate educator with over five years of online teaching experience. I’ve also had the privilege of homeschooling both of my children, which deepened my love for personalised and meaningful learning.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree and recently completed my Certificate in Ministry. I’m currently pursuing a Diploma in Ministry as I continue to grow in my theological understanding and Christian walk.

My love for Scripture runs deep—I’ve read the entire Bible three times and am currently on my fourth journey through the “Bible in One Year.” In 2022, I had the unforgettable experience of traveling to Israel, which brought even more depth to my studies and faith.

Holy Grammar was born out of my desire to combine language learning with the life-giving truth of the Bible. I believe learning English can be more than just practical; it can be spiritually enriching too.
